You need a small item with a bit of weight, such as a crystal (although people have also used their wedding rings for predicting whether their baby is to be a boy or girl). This is suspended on a piece of thread and voila - you have a pendulum!
To get familiar with the answers your pendulum is going to give you, you ask it to show you a Yes. The pendulum will begin to swing and you note the direction it swings in. Then repeat the procedure for No and Don’t Know.
Once you have established the swinging patterns, you can begin asking your other questions.
