Scrying or the Crystal Ball
Scrying is another popular method of seeing into your future. The technique is to stare into a crystal, mirror or water and hopefully you will enter an transformed mind frame where images will eventually begin to form on the surface you are gazing into.
Scrying is a very difficult discipline to master and much depends on your ability to focus and maintain the state without losing concentration. Don’t give up if nothing happens for a while when you begin scrying, eventually things will start to happen.
You need to be in a completely undisturbed atmosphere for this to work, and not allow background noise to disturb your concentration. Even ignoring outside traffic noise takes some practice at first.
Using a mirror or a bowl of water is the cheapest method to try first, and it’s much easier if the surface is dark, so scry in a dark room, leaving just enough light for you to see.
If and when you have any success, and like this method of divination, you can then invest in an expensive item like a crystal ball.
